Marketplace Listings

Collectors & Bids brings the thrill of a crowded collector’s convention online, with sellers offering vintage, modern, limited-edition, and hard-to-find collectibles. Here’s how bidding and buying works:

1. Create a Free Account

You’ll need a Collectors & Bids account to bid or buy.  Registration is 100% free, requires basic information, and includes e-mail verification to keep the Marketplace safe and trusted.

2. Do Your Due Diligence

All listings on Collectors & Bids come directly from individual sellers, so details like condition, descriptions, photos, and shipping options may vary. Bidders and buyers are encouraged to review each listing carefully, compare details, and ask questions before placing a bid or completing a purchase to ensure a confident, informed, and smooth auction experience.

3. Review Images & Descriptions

Take the time to carefully review all photos and read the full description of each toy listing. If anything is unclear, contact the seller before bidding, buying, or submitting an offer. Helpful questions to ask include:

• Do the photos accurately represent the toy and its condition?

• Are the images of the exact item being sold?

• Is there any wear, damage, missing pieces, box imperfections, or details not fully visible in the photos?

Doing this helps ensure you bid or buy with confidence and complete clarity.

Use the Questions & Answers section on the listing to communicate directly with the seller.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Understanding shipping details helps ensure your item arrives safely and on time. Consider asking the seller:

• What shipping method will be used, and what is the estimated delivery timeframe?

• How will the item be packaged to prevent damage?

• Is shipping insurance included?

Some sellers may also offer secure local pickup when available.

5. Payment Options

Collectors & Bids supports direct PayPal and Stripe payments within our Marketplace for strong buyer and seller protection.  Sellers may also list additional off-Marketplace payment methods they accept within their listing.

6. Buying and Bidding on Toy Store Trader is Simple and Secure

Auction Listings

• Selling Format – Buyers place bids on auction listings, and the highest bidder at the close of the auction wins.

• Auction Duration – 7-day auction timeframe.

• Optional: Make an Offer – Buyers may submit offers independently of the current bid price.

• Optional: Buy Now – Buyers can skip bidding and purchase immediately at the listed Buy Now price.

The winning buyer or bidder will incur a small Buyers Premium (see tiers link below).

Buyers Premium Refund Policy – The Buyers Premium is fully refundable if the seller does not fulfill the sale — for example, if the item is not shipped, lost in transit, or not delivered as described, and the issue cannot be resolved by our Marketplace support team. If an issue comes up, please contact us.

7. Finalizing the Sale

Once the Buyers Premium is paid, you’ll be connected directly with the seller. Both buyers and sellers receive each other’s contact information to arrange final payment, shipping, or local pickup.

The full winning bid or sale price is paid directly to the seller using the payment method(s) they specify. Buyers and winning bidders are expected to complete payment within 24 hours of the auction closing or purchase.
